Together, we are shaping a unique international professional learning experience.

Saturday 18 + Sunday 19: Free weekend in New York
Week 2
Monday 20 Cultural/historical visits in the nation’s capital
Tuesday 21 – Wednesday 22: School visits – meet leadership, see spaces in action.
We will visit schools consistent with Timeless Learning. They need to meet the authority’s requirements, yet have embraced the boundless opportunities of great learning.
Thursday 23:Workshop at the National Building Museum ‘Building the Future Together’ – Engaging with iterative design to create the space our students need.

We hope to include schools like Discovery School, Arlington: Designed and built to support how and where students learn. “Every nook and cranny of the school is arranged to create a seamless integration between design, sustainability, and learning”. This school has been designed to be a “net-zero energy” building, demonstrating performance and engaging students in the “building as a teaching tool”. National Building Museum in Washington DC seeks to inspire curiosity about the world we design and build. We are planning to use the makerspace as a setting for a workshop on the last day, ‘Building the Future Together’ – engaging with iterative design to create the space our students need.
