Love the creativity at Sculpture by the Sea 2011

For the first time ever we didn’t leave it to the last minute to get to Sculpture By The Sea, the annual outdoor event held in Bondi in November. We only live a few minutes away.

The sculptures are perched along the picturesque walk between Bondi and Tamarama Beaches in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. It’s best to get there early in the morning or midweek, but the runners aren’t too happy about all these tourists invading their patch.

The exhibits range from the quirky to the crazy. We plan to go back to spend more time at the Tamarama end, because breakfast beckoned. Sometimes you miss them if you don’t look carefully.

Here are a few of my images…

Take a seat and enjoy the view

Nice place to putt.
